Alley Rally for Johnson County Old Settlers a Success!

An alley that in previous years has been used for the concessions' trash was tranformed this year to an inviting space for pedestrians. This connection from the food vendors to the booths became a gathering space, a sitting area, a place for musicians and sidewalk chalk artists.  With the addition of some inspiration boards, some plant material and some benches, magic happened.  

This temporary landscape provided the inspiration and the motivation to evaluate the possibility of more permament design solutions for this public downtown space.
