KCBJ Capstone Real Estate Awards

Kansas City Business Journal hosted thier 11th Annual Capstone Real Estate Awards today at the Overland Park Sheraton.  KCP&L's new training facility, Cedar Point, was the recipient of an award in the Green Design category.  Hired by Bell/Knott Associates, Landworks Studio provided the overall site design for two structures, parking, exterior employee spaces, pole training and site circulation.  Amenities include a pond and trails, as well.  Solar panels provide shade and protection from the weather, as well, as provide an alternative power source.  A wind turbine is also included on the site.  We were proud to be represented at today's luncheon and congratulate KCP&L and our team!
