Under the direction of a new Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry, the City of Jefferson, Missouri embarked on a master plan for parks throughout the city. Public and stakeholder engagement was a critical component and drove the direction of the plan. Long overdue, the completed plan now provides direction for capital improvements throughout the city for the next 2 years. To prioritize the improvements, Landworks Studio developed a matrix that included crime statistics, demographics, years since last improvements were completed, population density, tourism to name a few.
