Landworks Studio was the lead landscape architect for Phase III of Clear Creek Trail. Our staff participated in the trailblazing, and provided solutions for creek crossing and storm drainage. Stream bank stabilization utilizing vegetation is a key part of the project and will be an asset as the plant material fills in and high water events occur. The trail head along Woodland Avenue provides amenities, a water bottle filling station and a bike repair station, for trail users and also creates a visual attraction for travelers on Woodland Avenue. This final trail segment completes the Clear Creek Trail as it joins Johnson County’s Gary L. Haller National Recreational Trail along Mill Creek.
