The City of Kansas City, MO selected Landworks Studio to develop a design for a signature gateway fountain for the Northland featuring Francois Chouteau and his contributions to the origination of this area of the city. From the inception, it was the desire of the Studio staff to use Kwan Wu’s art more than a sculptural fountain to be viewed from the street and serve as an interactive, educational and engaging piece of work for drivers and pedestrians. From site selection through design development, including graphic materials and a video for fund raising, Landworks Studio has delivered a quality project exceeding expectations.
