The City of Warsaw is located on the Lake of Ozarks and has been gaining tourists every year for several years. Warsaw has an extensive menu of available outdoor activities, along with real hospitality that keeps enthusiasts coming back. The riverfront has been undergoing a face lift and this project is an extension of a trail. This phase of the project turns Harrison Street into an attractive pedestrian space by limiting vehicular traffic, providing a new back door for the businesses downtown, taking advantage of the Community Building’s prime location providing an accessible route to the lake front. The design offers the opportunity for a grand frieze to illustrate the colorful history of Warsaw visible to trail users and boaters alike. The wall allows direct access to a plaza space tucked neatly between the lake and the Community Building that will serve as a multi-functional venue for activities and events.
