Landworks Studio led a multidisciplinary team to transform the aquatic experience at Missouri’s most visited state park. Replacing an outdated pool and bathhouse, the new 2,700-SF recirculating splash pad is the first of its kind in the Missouri State Park system. The design, themed around trout fishing features interactive water play structures and prioritizes accessibility, safety, and environmental resilience.
The project also includes a new inclusive playground with rubberized surfacing, a restroom and mechanical building, shaded seating areas, and improved accessible parking. Located outside the 100-year floodplain, the improvements ensure long-term durability and visitor enjoyment. This revitalized area strengthens Bennett Spring’s identity as a premier family destination.
