Located in historic Swope Park, the Kansas City Campus for Animal Care was thoughtfully designed to blend into its park-like surroundings. Landworks Studio worked closely with the KC Pet Project to create a welcoming, campus-like environment that honors the natural context—preserving existing trees and nestling the facility into the hillside. Outdoor spaces were designed with intention and care, including a pondside path, special lighting, play yards, and a firepit - enhancing both the visitor and animal experience.
