Following the acquisition of the Stoneridge property, Landworks Studio worked with the design team to reimagine how this new land could enhance the vision for Cedar Niles, a regional park in western Johnson County. With existing structures removed, the site’s natural beauty and potential came to life - revealing opportunities to create unique, artistic gathering spaces that complement the surrounding prairie and brook.

The resulting concept includes a lawn pavilion, glamping area, nature-inspired playgrounds, scenic overlooks, and an expanded trail network. The Stoneridge addition enriches Cedar Niles by offering immersive, creative, and restorative outdoor experiences for park visitors of all ages.
